  • Appearance£º Does its dimension in accord with the tolerance? Is there any breakage, distortion, erosion or leakage?
  • Discharge capability£º Compare different discharge capacities, discharge voltages and temperature change under different discharge rate£¬measure the stable discharge threshold value£¨the battery will performance unsteadily when discharge over this value£©.
  • Charge efficiency£º Compare charge efficiency curve, charge voltages and temperature change under different charge rate of constant current, see there is any breakage or distortion. Measure the stable charge threshold value£¨the battery will performance unsteadily when charge over this value£©.
  • Life cycle£º Compare charge/discharge capacity, charge/discharge curve, temperature change and inside-resistant under different rate of constant current, find there is any leakage (air or liquid) or obvious distortion.
  • Capacity maintenance (Self discharge)£º Charge the battery (rechargable) to a certain coulomb (50£¥£¬80£¥£¬100£¥, etc.) and deposit it for a certain period at certain temperature (10¡æ£¬20¡æ£¬30¡æ£¬40¡æ£¬50¡æ, etc.). Then test its actual capacity, compare the data with the battery under normal condition.
  • Deposite capability (shelf life)£º Deposit the battery for a long period (6 months, 1 years, 2 years, 3 years, etc.) under a certain coulomb loading and temperature, then test its charge/discharge ability, compare the data with a new battery, check the different aspects such as voltage curve, capacity, inside-resistance, temperature change, life time, etc.
  • Temperature characteristic: Test the change of charge efficiency under different charge rates, discharge capacity, voltage, temperature change, inside-resistance/local action/shelf life at different surrounding temperatures.
  • Inside-resistance: Charge, discharge and deposit the battery under different rates and different temperatures, test its AC resistance, electrochemistry resistance and changing status.
  • Over charge and over discharge: Long-playing charge/discharge test under different rates and different temperatures, measure temperature change, observe any distortion or leakage, and find out how it breaks. (safety precautions are required here)
  • short circuit performance£º Make the battery short circuit, measure the long time and short time short circuit voltage, current and temperature change, see if the battery would burn or explode. (safety precautions are required here)
  • Consistency: Batteries¡¯ consistency need to be studied in all the testings above.
  • Security Performance: ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
    • Electricity test: Over charge/discharge, outside short circuit and forced discharge
    • Mechanical test: Falling off, impacting, puncture, vibrancy, extrusion and accelerating
    • Heat up test: Heating impacting.
    • Circumstance test: Release the press, submerging.
